A Strange Dream

I had an interesting dream.

My dream started with heat, it was hot out and I was thinking the sun was very bright in the sky. When I looked down there were white stone blocks pushed closely together forming a road. I was headed to... somewhere... I think maybe Rome? But at this time I wasn't walking. I had just dislodged a pebble from my right sandal, it was a frustrating chore and my feet were pretty dusty from walking, and it could have been worse. I had my left hand resting on my hip and my other hand shielding my eyes from the sun so that I could look ahead along the road. I was wearing what looked like a pillow case with a rope around the middle. There was a huge rock jutting out of the hill to my left that sort of obstructed my view but I could see a small building up ahead held up by two pillars and with roughly 3 steps going into it. There was a boy to my left playing in the shade from the hill, and up ahead there were a couple people talking loudly to each other, they sounded like they were just having a normal conversation. A light breeze blew passed and made my head itch because it moved one of the light brown curls on top of my head into my eyes. Also... I was very obviously a boy? I had a weird flash back to my childhood as the boy too... It started with a stone work house and the roof was made of like wood and maybe hay or something? Out side there was a plow and a couple of big pots... I went inside and it was noticibly cooler, there was a woman by the fire stirring food in a pot and she amusedly said something like 'shouldn't you be playing outside?' And I was so overwhelmed with happiness, like I had just seen someone I hadn't seen in years... and I said 'yes mama but I missed you' and I hugged her legs like I would never see her again, she smiled and hugged me and then sent me to go and see my father, who was sitting in a chair looking at something on some paper I think... he had a cup of water and when I came over he asked shouldn't you be outside? And I told him yes but that I loved him and he pulled me into his lap... after that I can't really remember a lot but I didn't want to leave and I had this feeling the whole time that I was home and that I wanted to stay and be there with them. Also I tried to draw the first place I saw on my phone's sketchpad so I don't forget it.
