Since it's getting cold here in Louisiana I thought I would share my two favorite baking recipes.

I love them because they are fast and easy, but also because every holiday season growing up I would make this special birthday cake for my dad and it's his favorite cake.

The cookies are my family's go to holiday baked goods and I have a lot of memories tied in with them.
